Review: Fuyuzono Sacrifice
冬園サクリフィス Completion date: February 26, 2026 After replaying Piofiore base game, what do I have to lose in playing another game with religious vibes and an MC who grew up in the church? What can go wrong? Apparently, everything. Disclaimer: I’ve only played the “happy” and “sad” endings to complete CG acquisition. I didn’t play…

Piofiore no Banshou: 2nd Playthrough Musings
Second-clear date: February 21, 2026 In 2026, this hit game from 2018 remains one of the biggest IPs of otome gaming and does not need its own introduction. Back then, I played it with the atrocious traditional Chinese translation the first run. Given I am preoccupied studying for my board exam, I don’t really have…

Review: Suuran Digit
数乱digit Completion date: February 7, 2026 I actually have not heard of this game during its release in the PSV era but came across the PV for the 10th year anniversary Switch port announcement. I’ve always liked anime with a “Fate”-theme where people from distinct factions/classes battle each other. Hence, I added this game immediately…

Review: Matsurika no Kei -kEi- Tenmeiin Iden
マツリカの炯-kEi- 天命胤異伝 Completion date: February 2, 2026 With the FD release on its horizon and this game marketed as “Chinese-inspired” (and the fact my copy of UN:LOGICAL is still in delivery) I decided to finally step into this game. As someone who dropped multiple Yoshimura Ririka titles and reading mainly negative mainstrema reviews, I am…

Plot Summary & Review: Tokeijikake no Apocalypse
計仕掛けのアポカリプス Completion date: December 27, 2025 I am really going down my bucket list of games this year. From Nil Ado to Diabolik Lovers to this game that was announced along with Olympia Soiree but got me a lot more hyped than OlySoi. That was before I even picked up a Japanese textbook and said,…

Review: Nil Admirari no Tenbin: Teito Genwaku Kitan
ニル・アドミラリの天秤 帝都幻惑綺譚 Completion date: September 19, 2025 I started this game and finished Hisui route last year, but for some reason I just abandoned it? Wasn’t even a full drop; I think work just got busy. I have known of this game pretty much since its release on PSV in 2016 – I never had…

Review: OVER REQUIEMZ
Completion date: July 24, 2025 After finishing some older titles I decided it was time to try an anticipated new release this year. It exceeded expectations. Translated Director Review PROS: CONS: My play order (hyperlinks to jump to each route also included): Molly > Claude > Noil > Kaize > Dorothy Recommended play order: Molly/Claude/Noil…

Review: Trouble Magia
トラブル・マギア ～訳アリ少女は未来を勝ち取るために異国の魔法学校へ留学します～ Completion date: February 5, 2025 From Wand of Fortune we dive into Otome Hogwarts but in 2024. Like many, I initially bought this game without high expectations given all the hype last year around new J-otome releases are Uchronia, Matsurika, or Mistonia. I am a longtime fan of the artist Suzunosuke, who is…
